After tearing apart the last tavern they were in..

Sven and Andruil made their way into Morgaan's temple, both of them were already drunk off their arses. Nobody payed them a second glance, even though they were both splattered with fresh blood. Hell, half the customers in the tavern had come in like that at one time or another.

Sven was about to bellow out for ale when he saw a sight that stopped him dead in his tracks. It was a dwarven lass, a beatury by anyone's standards. Sven had barely seen any dwarven women before and this one was barely wearing anything. He started blushing and quicky tried to turn away. She, however had seen this and knew what easy money was when she saw it. She stroke forward and put a hand on Sven's shoulder. He turned around nervously.

"Looking for a good time?"

Sven really didn't know what she was talking about. Once he managed to force him mouth to work he managed a weak "Aye." He was here to drink and brawl, so yes, he was here for a good time.

"For six crowns you can have my time. Then it will be two more for a really good time, four if you've got anything special in mind and one if you just want to talk."

Sven just nodded. Seeing that she was getting nowhere talking to him she just said. "Hand over eight crowns and follow me." It took Sven a moment to realize that she was talking to him. He opened up his purse and carefully (and very slowly) counted out the gold. She snatched it up and nearly dragged him up the stairs to her reserved room. A few of the regulars having seen this just laughed.

Once in her room she closed and locked the door. She moved over to the bed and undressed. Sven just stood there and stared, unable to really believe what was happening. Most male dwarfs spent their entire lives as bachelors, and coincidently as virigns. Also, having grown up in a hold, he had never met a prostitute before, it was all really too much for his small little mind. She looked at him and sighed heavily.

"Are you going to undress or not?"

Sven stared at her for a second longer, his heart was beating fater than it had in even the most bloody brawls or the most dangerous battles. He nodded and took off his clothes.

Gertha couldn't believe how stupid this dwarf was. Still, she reconciled herself that at least he was a proper dwarf and not some human with a fetish. Truth be told he was the first dwarf to ever enter this tavern. She looked him over and thought to herself that he would be attractive if he only took a bath to wash the dry blood off him and took care of his beard. She grabbed him by his beard and pulled him over to the bed, something told her that she was going to have to get this started...

Sven lay there on the bed with a stupid smile on his face. He looked over at her and grinned. "Ach, that was as much fun as brawling, and I love brawling."

She ran a hand through his beard and wondered why she hadn't left already to find a new customer. Instead she replied "Come now, that had to be more enjoyable than fighting."

Sven looked at her and a war waged in his mind. He finally manged to say "Maybe." She laughed but he wasn't joking.

"I usually don't ask this, but who are you?"

"I be Sven Brognarsnev! I be from Kraka Drak in Norsca."

"And I am Bertha Teef, from Raphoe."

"Ye be from a human town! Ach, this be nay place for a dwarf to live."

She looked at him sadly and then said "Then take me to Norsca and away from here. I'll join your clan! You can take up a craft skill, settle down..."

Sven suddenly sat up and stared at her as if she had just smacked him in the face. "Settle down? Ye nay be serious, lass! Nay more brawls? Nay more fightin'? By Grimnir's axe lassy, that be what me do! I'm goin' to travel this here world and I'm goin' find an' kill the biggest, nastiest things out there and I'll be gettin' rich too! I cannae settle down."

She suddenly exploded in rage. She screamed "Get out! Your just like everyone else. Get the hell out!" She started throwing his clothes at him and his equipment. One of his knuckle dusters bounced off his head. Fear suddenly set into his gut; there are few things that any dwarven warrior fears, the greatest of them is an angry woman. Gathering up all of his stuff in his arms Sven ran from the room, confused and frightened.

Sven stood out in the hall way, naked and carrying everything he owned in his arms. A man walked out from his room, took one look at Sven and went right back in, slamming the door behind him. Sven pulled on his pants and then the rest of his clothes, finally putting on his armor. He looked back at the room he had just come from and came to a conclusion. Brawling was more fun. He rubbed the bump on his head and added: it's less dangerous too.

Anruil drunk as a dwarf and not much smarter(!), flung the main door open and stagered into the 'temple' just in time to catch Sven walking away with a rather ugly and beardless dwarf which he assumed was female, though he really couldn't tell! [glow=darkblue,2,300]"Sven! where da fook ya goin?"[/glow] he screeched out the top of his lungs, but Sven obviously to enraptured by his compagnion gave no answer much to the elf's chagrin he had hoped to get in another round of drinking with the dwarf but it seemed the little bugger had better things to 'do'(shudders).

Gloomy and rather disappointed at the dwarf, Anruil slowly made his way over to the bar bumping and crashing his way through most of the crowd which only seemed to make matters worse as insults were hurled at him with glee. [glow=darkblue,2,300]"Sh-shut da fook up, shyt fer brains or I'll cut it off!"[/glow] the elf replied to some rather large human who suggested he put on a dress and come to his room, before making a wild swipe with his left fist completly missing his mark and hiting a woman in the back by accident!

"Khaine's teeth! whats a matter with you!?" Meave screeched out as Anruil hit her in the back, before turning around and slapping him the face her long nails leaving a bloody mark on his left cheeck.

[glow=darkblue,2,300]"Ha! .. yur pertty..."[/glow] Anruil said stupidly as he looked at the temptress his brain not exactly functioning properly, which wasn't uncommon.

Meave looked at the elf before her with utter disdain, he was piss drunk and rather dim by the looks of him, if she didn't know better she'd have sworn he was freinds with that foul dwarf that barged in but a minute ago, little did she know how right she was... "My how observent of you!" she spat back, her sarcasism and spite completly lost on Anruil.

[glow=darkblue,2,300]"Sorry for hittin' you in da back... was aimin' fer that big idiot."[/glow] Anruil replied in a childish fashion with a stupid smirk on his face.

Meave having long since lost her patience slowly moved her hand behind her back reaching for her long dagger, she would evisorate this piece of filth! "My what happened to you? You're covered in blood!" she inquired in an innocent tone, deciding it might not be the best of ideas to strike out at the idiot now, from the looks of it he had been in a fight and the only visible damage was the thin scrath lines she had made!

Pride swelled in Anruil as he heard the inquiry, finaly some one would hear of his great conquest over the drunks of the Raphian Refuge! [glow=darkblue,2,300]"Twas a grand fight my lady"[/glow] the stated with pride, [glow=darkblue,2,300]"though some silly human got himself killed when I tried to knock him out! What an idiot, letting his shoulder get shattered like that!"[/glow]

"Oh you poor thing." Meave replied with a little innocent smile, odds were she couldn't beat the idiot in a straight fight but she had a plan. "Why don't you come up to my room? We'll get that blood cleaned off and then you can spend a little time with me..."

[OOC: I'll let you figure out what happened here... you perverts ;D]

[glow=darkblue,2,300]"Oh whats that for?"[/glow] Anruil inquired as Meave sat atop him, a long dagger in her hand.

"Why its to stab you with my dear." the dark elf replied with a slight giggle.

[glow=darkblue,2,300]"S'ry, I'm not into that kind of thing."[/glow] the dim wited elf replied, threat on his life completly lost on him, he simply assumed it was some sort of fetish... Meave was just about to come up with a cunning retort when of all horrors Anruil viloently brought himself into a sitting position and smashed his head into hers! [glow=darkblue,2,300]"Oopsy, you ok?"[/glow] the elf inquired stupidly as Meave 'landed' on the floor.

About an hour or so later after having passed out the elf woke from his alcohol induced sleep, from a top the bed Anruil stared at the unconcsious druchii for a few seconds, before resigning himself to the fact she wasn't about to wake up any time soon, quickly he jumped from his bed and put on his clothes. It was rather cold and he didn't intend on spending the rest of the night freezing... Just as he was about done dressing up Meave in a rather sloppy fashion, the door to the room suddenly burst open and a rather slim man dressed in fine black clothing stepped in.

[glow=red,2,300]"What the fook happened here!?"[/glow] he inquired angrily as he saw Meave lying on her bed unconsious.

[glow=darkblue,2,300]"Uh... ya.. she uhm took a nasty spill think she'll be out fer da rest o' the night. sorry"[/glow] Anruil replied dimly as looked at Meave then turned his gaze back to the man.

[glow=red,2,300]"Well I have an appointment... doubt she'll mind if I fook her while she sleeps!"[/glow] the ran replied with an evil chuckle as he moved towards Meave completly unaware that Anruil wasn't the kind to take such things lightly...

"Ah! my head!" Meave mumbled as she woke from he comatos state, I'm still alive? whats going on? why did that elf spare me? she thought to herself as she brought her self up. She was sitting on her bed, all of her clothes on, and apart for the head acke it was as though last night had never happened... then she noticed him! He looked different, for one he wasn't wabbling or starring at her like an idiot, and his clothes... they were different!

[glow=darkblue,2,300]"Ah good morning, I hope that little bump on the head didn't hurt too much."[/glow] Anruil inquired in a polite tone as he finished putting a new set of fine black clothes, his old ones lying on the floor with several slashes accross. Meave stared at him in shock for a few seconds before nodding ever so slightly to show she was ok. [glow=darkblue,2,300]"I found you on the floor, when I woke, only thing I can remember from last night was coming in then knocking you out with my head... "[/glow] the elf continued with more than a hint of embarrasment in his voice, apparently he was only dumber than Sven when drunk.

"Gah! what happend to him!?" Meave screached as she saw a naked man on the floor a dagger lying a few inches from his hand, and half his face caved in.

[glow=darkblue,2,300]"Oh him? He tried to take advantage of you while you were sleeping, so I tought him a lesson... apparently I don't know my own strength."[/glow] Anruil replied in a calm fashion, he was almost proud of saving her from being raped, but for some reason felt that he had forgotten something rather important about last night. [glow=darkblue,2,300]"Here you can have his purse, I don't need his money."[/glow] the elf continued as he tossed the surprisingly large purse on the bed and walked out of the room...

Meave let out a sigh of relief as Anruil stepped out, she thanked the gods for sparring her life for surely that elf would have killed her had he remembered what happened last night...

[OOC: Rolled the fight, but too lazzy to RP it, Anruil was fighting a merchant and kept looted his clothes since he recieved a few 0d hits(i[]basicly got his clothes slashed up[/i]), but left the purse containing 31gcs 3shillings and 13 pennies to Meave as payment for her 'trouble']

Sven came back down into the bar looking shaken. At least one person saw him and smiled cruely. The man stood up and called for Sven to come to him. He was a lean man, almost cadaverous who was draped in a black robe, with him were two young men, most likely his apprentices. Sven nodded and came over to him. The man called out "Morgaan, bring me over an order of meat fit for a dwarf!" Morgaan laughed and bellowed for the order to be made. Sven just smiled and took a seat.

"That be for me?"

"Yes, its' for you." His apprentices snickered. Sven just smiled.

"That be mighty kind o' ye, it is. I be Sven Brognarsnev, who be ye?"

"Why I am Remar, though most people just call me the Flesh-Cutter."

"Really? That be a fine surname. I hope to have one o' me own someday. How'd ye get yours?"

"How do you think?"

"Ye cut some man with ye blades in a fight?"

"No. I would never fight in such a crude way."

At this point Sven looked positively confused, his ale muddled mind was having trouble keeping up with the conversation. The necromancer looked up and waved at someone in the distance. Sven turned around and saw that he had waved at another man who was dressed in bright red robes. The man had just come in and had started talking to a woman in a very revealing dress.

"Ah, the food is here." A waitress put a plate down in front of Sven as well as some silverware, on the plate was a bloody steak. Sven picked it up and dug in, he was famished and this was the first piece of meat he had eaten since he had left Norsca. Everyone around him watched with interest as he devoured it.

Sven smiled as he ate the last piece of the dwarf-meat. His smile faded as the necromancer said cruely "I hope you enjoyed the meal. You have just eaten another dwarf." Everyone erupted into laughter, even the customers who were not at the table. As it dawned on Sven what had just happened he let out a roar of rage and grabbed the necromancer by his robes, brought him forward and into his incoming fist. There was a sickening crunch as his powerful blow hit the man in the head, breaking his skull and his neck in one clumsy punch. It didnt' matter that he was drunk, the blow connected all the same and with devastating force to one so frail. ooc: Hit once with a 30, nec has T of 3 and 8 wounds. Total of 10 wounds caused, critical 2. 72 rolled, critical 15, the necromancer is dead.

Across the room Remar's friend had seen what had just happened, he knew immidiately what had just happened. He raised up his right hand and a fireball shot from it at Sven, in his rage he didn't even think about what the reprecussions of his actions would be. The fireball hit Sven in the back and the flames spread onto one of the apprentices and two bystanders. ooc: Against Sven a 3 is rolled to wound. 6-4-1 (frenzied)=1 wound! The apprentice who was hit dies and the bystander (normal human stats) dies as well! All hell broke loose, the tavern was crowded and those hit didn't know where the attack had come from. The inhabitants of the tavern didn't trust each other under the best of circumstances and this was the catalyst to a battle. Friend started to group together and made a fighting retreat to the exit. All hell broke loose as everyone tried to flee for the exit. Major carnage broke out as two vampires clawed their way into the night, one of them leaping through a window; both left at least a half dozen corpses behind them. Wizards let loose with fire balls and even a few lightning bolts which tore through the crowd. All those who failed to throw up a magical protection around themselves or were not an experienced fighter soon died.

All told there were about fourty souls within the tavern that night, of them two were vampires and there were three necromancers and six battle wizards; the rest were apprentices, serving staff, thugs and would be cultists. Within the first thirty seconds of the fight a good sixteen men had died from one way or another. People fled the tavern in droves while more spells were cast, a few of the more hardned thugs attacked the nearst of the casters, ripping them apart with their long bladed daggers.

Sven's life was saved accidently, he had tacked one of the apprentices and killed him with two blows with his knuckle dusters. The third apprentice flipped the table over to put something between him and the dwarf, at that moment a fireball exploded near him. Second fireball hits Sven and another apprentice. Apprentice dies. A 1 is rolled to wound Sven, 0 wounds done The man was engulfed in flames and so was the table, but it had stopped the flames from hitting Sven.

Sven stood up and looked around. The tavern was all but empty. He was standing with his back to the wall and a burning table in front of him. Corpses covered the floor, but those still standing were three cadres of wizards, each with their apprentices. Each of them had backed into a corner and were glaring at each other, waiting to see who would throw the next spell. Along with them in the fourth corner was a small gang of thugs, they were armed with crossbows; there were about four corpses lying near them with bolts in them. The tavern itself had emptied, but the floor was covered in corpses. While Sven didn't notice it, the wizard who had thrown the first spell was laying in a pool of blood with a dagger in his chest. There were more corpses than Sven could count, which didn't mean much as he couldn't count past ten anyways.

Morgaan got up from behind the counter from which he was cowering and stared bellowing. Sven was having a hard time understanding what he was saying as his accent was odd and his ears were still ringing. Whatever he said though seemed to calm them down. Each of them nodded cautiously and stormed out of the tavern, one cadre at a time. Soon only Sven was left.

Morgaan yelled at him "Didn't you hear what I said? Get out!"

Sven looked around innocently. "Ach, sorry 'bout all this. Ye need any help?" Sven felt a bit bad, he loved brawls but the owner was really upset..

"You want to help? Start throwing these corpses into the basement over there." Sven nodded and got to work. As he worked he couldn't help but notice that there were a fair number of corpses already in the basement, he guessed that this type of thing had happened before. Morgaan was busy throwing sawdust on the floor to cover the blood and spilled ale.

Morgaan's tone softened. "Well thanks, I suppose. I really didn't expect anyone to offer to help me, and with my entire staff dead or running I thought I'd have to do this alone. Your filthy, dwarf. Here, take this bucket of water and clean yourself. You can have any empty room upstairs to sleep in." Sven smiled. "Thank ye, manling." He grabbed the bucket and went up stairs. He stumbled a bit; he was still under the effects of a massive quantity of ale and it was imparing his motor skills. He went to the first room he saw, lifted the bucket above his head and spilled half of it onto him. He then dunked his hands into the rest of it and rubbed off the rest of the blood. With all of this done he closed and locked the door, took off his clothes to let them dry and climbed into bed. He was weary, having suffered burns on his back and cuts on his chest. Still, the cold water felt good on them.

Sven woke up the next morning with a hangover. He got up and moaned as he held his head in his hands. Finally he got up and walked over to his clothes. He pulled them on, only barely noticing that his leather had toughned. With a groan he left his room. He was at least glad that the cuts on his chest had healed, but there were still blisters on his back of his neck and the back of his leather jerkin had blackened from the flames. Still, he was alive and that meant that there was drinking and brawling to be done.

ooc: Sven gains d6 insanity points for eating another dwarf. The roll comes up as a 6. Cl test failed (76).

I haven't rolled yet. I would like to ask that he gets either Alchoholism or Hatred/Animosity to all spell casters.

Anruil cautiously made his way down the stairs, the place seemed quiet a little to quiet for his liking, once having sobered up the elf was actualy rather intellegent by human standards though a little slow by thse of his own race. [glow=darkblue,2,300]"By Asuryan! What happened here!?"[/glow] the elf exclamed in total shock as he saw the mess downstairs, he could have sworm the place didn't look like this when he went up... but then again he was drunk and he knew just how dim he got when in that state.

[Grumbaki]

Sven appeared behind him. "Bloody hell elfling! Don't yell, Sven's got a hangover. Ach, ye should have seen it last night. Bodies everywhere. Ye see, a snotling fondler tricked me intae eating the body o' a dwarf...I hope he was lyin'. Anyways I killed him, one punch to the head." He held up one fist, which truth be told was about the size of a man's face. "Anyway's some bastich fingerwagler cast some kind o' spell and I was hit by some flames. Then all hell broke loose. Flames and lightin' were jumpin' around they were. Bloody mess. Aye, a good night. How was yours?" He said the last part with indifference, as if what had happened last night really didn't mean anything to him.

[Drasanil]

Who the fuck is that!? Anruil thought as he turned around to see the dwarf. he looked at the little fellow blankly for a few seconds then it finaly hit him! Oh thats the little bugger I nearly beat at the Refuge... Sven! but whats it still doing here? I saw it walk off with the ugliest halfling last night...

[glow=darkblue,2,300]"Ah yes good morning Sven."[/glow] the elf stated in a calm fashion deciding it was best not to piss off the dwarf after what he had just heard of. [glow=darkblue,2,300]"oh her... I think she let me have my way but I can't remember, must have been drinking too much again. By the way didn't you spend the night with some one as well?"[/glow] Anruil continued in a slightly embarrased tone.

[Grumbaki]

Sven's face flushed red and he looked embarrised. "Ach, aye. She, err...asked me to marry her. She didnae like me refusal to well. Threw me stuff at me and kicked me out o' the room. Had to get dressed in the hall way. Like me uncle used to say, 'With beastmen any warrior with an axe an' a strong arm can survive, but there be nothin' that can save ye from an angry dwarven lass!' Again, he was right..." He rubbed the bump on his head from where she hit him with his own knuckle dusters.

[Drasanil]

Uhg! that thing was dwarven women, how repulsive! No wonder they're getting drunk all the time! Anruil thought to himself as he tried to push the image of Bertha out of his mind, though he nearly gagged in the process only barely managing to keep it in. [glow=darkblue,2,300]"You're uncle seems to be a wise one Sven, I take it he is one of those famous long beards?"[/glow] Anruil replied in a friendly tone as he tried to shift the conversation with out mentioning that monstrosity of a female... He knew dwarves could be touchy and he didn't want to imagine what Sven would do if he heard the truth about his 'lass'.

[Grumbaki]

Sven nodded happily. He proudly said "Aye, a longbeard he is. He turned a hundred and thirty two last year."

[Drasanil]

[glow=darkblue,2,300]"Well then we best be having breakfast, don't want to adventuring on an empty stomach do you?"[/glow] the elf happily suggested as his stomach made a slight rumbling noise, he hadn't eaten since long before out drinking poor Guss.

[Grumbaki]

"Ach, sounds good. I think that I'd prefer we eat somewhere else though. After last night I dunnae really want to eat anythin' else here; it may turn out to be me cousin." It was left to Anruil to make his own conclusions on whether or not Sven was making a joke.

[Drasanil]

Anruil having noticed that when ever Sven said something idiotic he was hardly ever making a joke and decided to take the dwarf's word as if it were serious. [glow=darkblue,2,300]"Well then where do you suggest we go? We can't return to the Refuge after last night and I don't know of any other places."[/glow] the elf inquired, hoping that Sven could force his tiny brain to remember a decent place to eat.

"Well in me hold we had a bazaar where all the manling merchants would come in. Some o' them would bring in different kinds o' food and sell it behind their carts. Perhaps this town has a market place or somethin' like that?"
