A wealthy shipwright lives at the docks and owns a couple of large warehouses in which he and his workforce build many ships.
Different size ships take a different amount of time to be built.

Naval Supplies Anchor, small - 2GC 10/- Anchor, large - 3GC 15/- Buoy - 5GC Compass - 12GC 4/- Lobster pot - 8/8 Lodestone - 2GC 14/- Oar, common - 1GC Oar, Galley - 2GC 10/- Oar, Kayak - 2GC 1/8 Mast - 6d per foot (new ships come with a mast already) Net - 9GC (per fathom) Tackle Block - 15/10 Tar - 10/6 (per gallon)
The shipwright can also direct you were to go to find crew, sails or rope....
