Ic: He walked under the cover of darkness, and he liked it. He walked in the depths of the night, and he liked it. He walked in the presence of danger, and he liked it. He walked in the domain of evil, and he reveled in it.
In a few moments, the dark figure was upon the gate. It was bright, torch lit, blocky in the style of humans, and he did not like it. It stank of crude civility and goodness, and he did not like it. It was populated by lesser beings, and he did not like it. It held houses to other dieties, he dispised it. But it would have to do.
Walking towards the human who stood by the gate, he drew the sleaves of his robe up around his arm. Many towns in this blasted land did not like any spell casters, and the runes tattoed into him would tell anyone of his proffesion. Smoothing back his long black hair,he watched the guard apporach him and talk in it's gutteral language.
"Right, tha fee's a crown ta enter."
The words were harsh and stung his ears with their crudeness, but he reached for his money pouch anyways. Handing one of the crude gold disks over, the Druchii stared hard at the man with his dark eyes. Taking the coin, the beast of a humanoid opened the gate and bade him enter.
A slight nod his only acknowledgement to the man, the Druchii entered and dissapeared into the darkness.
it was bright, torch lit, and he did not like it, but he could feel a darkness too. It stank of crude civility and goodness, and he did not like it, but he could feel an evil too. It was populated by lesser beings, and he did not like it, but he could sense his own kind. It held houses to other dieties, he dispised it, but his diety held court here too.
