Ic: Having slept for the past day waiting for the best time to enter the city, Tivec still strode about the city streets in the early morning, not the least bit tired. His black pulled around him to ward of the chill of the early hours, the Thief walked along the cobblestoned street, looking at the houses around him. After a while of walking, he stopped.
Across the road from him stood exactly what the Thief was looking for. A fair sized house, wedged between two others. From the look of it, the person who owned the house had moderate wealth, a good place for Tivec to start with. Above all else though, it was the fact that there were no lights on in the house. Tivec knew that if there was a wife, or at least a maid, in the house, they would be up already, preparing a meal. But with no lights on, this ment the Thief had no one to worry about once the owner left.
Looking around for a bit, Tivec found an alley way that sat in view of the house. Sitting by the opening of the alley, the Thief pulled his cloak around, tucked his tricorner hat away, and pulled his hood up.
Raised in the streets of Mesembria, the young man was skilled as dissapearing in urban settings. Feeling comfortably camoflaged, Tivec settled down, and watched.

Ic: For the next six hours, Tivec simply sat and watched the house. For the first two hours, nothing happened of interest to the Thief. However upon the beginning of the third hour, signs of movement showed from within the house.
His eyes locked on the house, the Thief watched intently. First, a ruddy orange light showed in the top window of the house. Next the light dissapeared, then re-appeared at a window halfway through the floors. Obviously the owner of the house was decending stairs to the first floor.
Upon reaching the first floor, the light stopped for the next half of an hour. Not long after that, the front door of the house opened. Stepping out onto the streets, a portly man in good clothing turned and locked the door behind him before waddling off down the streets. From the clothing, Tivec guessed that the man was a low level merchant, most likely working as a liason for a higher ranking one.
With the owner of the house gone, Tivec kept his position and watched the house for another two hours. Once he was sure that no one else lived in the house, the Thief stood and dusted himself off. Taking a step forward, Tivec checked down both streets before quivkly moving towards the house.
Stopping for a moment to make sure that no Watch had seen him, the Thief shoved himself down the very thin alley way beside the right part of the house. Moving halfway down the alleyway, Tivec found what he was looking for. A small window, disused, but large enough for the lithe Thief to squeze into.
The window sat on the second floor, but inside the small alleyway, Tivec had the perfect way to get to it. Pressing his shoulders against the alley wall, the Thief braced his legs against the house and began to push himself upwards. Reaching the window, the young man braced his fet under it, pushed off with his arms and grabbed the window as well. With a free hand, the Thief checked the latch on the small window, locked. Not minding much, the Thief pushed off again and pressed his shoulders against the wall.
Making his way back down the alley, the young man checked once more for the Watch before returning to his watching position.

Ic: It was about an hour after the sun had set that the portly man in the fine clothing returned. Tivec watched him intently as he unlocked the door, entered, and closed the oak contraption behind him.
Grinning from amidst his cloak, Tivec stood once more and dusted himself off. Reaching into his cloak, the Thief pulled out his tircorner hat and placed it lightly on top of his head. Flicking the hat into a jaunty angle, the young man left his watch post.
Heading down the cobblestoned road, the Thief went to find himself a palce to stay for the night.
