Ic: With the moon above him still clouded, Tivec crossed the streets of Raphoe silently. His black cloak billowing behind him, the dark figure walked along the cobblestoned way. A grin splayed across his face and his right hand laying peacefully against the pommel of his short sword, the Thief looked around the houses around him.
From what he could see, the city in which he stood was ripe for the picking. He had only been in Raphoe for a while, but the Thief could tell the population of his kind was not as high as say the city of Mesembria or Kadaklan. Still walking down the street, the Thief stopped when he came upon what he was looking for.
A squat building with a heavy door over which sat a sign. Tivec could not read a word of any language, but the large hammer and anvil on the sign told him that this was the type of shop he looked for. Flashing another grin, the young man walked over to the heavy door and opened it.
Walking inside the building, Tivec looked over the mundane items that filled the front room. Walking between ailse of items, the Thief came upon what he wanted. Grabbing the items, he headed over to the counter. Giving the young man who stood behind the counter a once over, Tivec dropped two small bags of nails on the counter.
The young man looked over the purchase then looked at Tivec.
"That'll be ten shillings."
Reaching into the money purse at his side, the Thief dropped ten of the silver coins in the young man's waiting hand. Grabbing the two bags of nails, the young man tied them to the back of his belt and nodded to the young man.
With that the Thief walked out into the night and down the streets of Raphoe.
