Bezainted: Leather studded with metal rings, bolts or plates.
Chainmail: Metal rings interconnected to create mesh.
Kuirbolli: Leather armor dipped in hot oil to harden it.
Scalemail: Leather covered with overlapping plates of metal. Also includes metal/leather laminates. Samurai armour is a form of scalemail.
Coif-
Hood of armor, covers head and neck, but not face, reduces hearing capabilities.
