Erich strolled trough the streets of Raphoe, whistling to himself. Esmarelda, his hawk, sat on his shoulder, her talons digging into his flesh slightly. He was happy though. He had just bought the bird from a proffessional falconer, and was on his way to show the bird to his friends. They'd be impressed. It had sleek, shiny feathers, and they seemed to have an inner vibrance. He knew that this meant she was healthy. He stroked her gently as he walked, heading for the Raphian Refuge.
